The Cabins at Leisure Ranch Alpacas

Welcome and thank or your interest in our cabins. We are tentatively scheduled to be open Memorial Day through Labor Day, but will adjust this each season depending on access (spring mud, fall snows). The Cabins are set up for double occupancy.

These are so called “Glamping” cabins. Your still camping, but you sleep in a nice clean comfortable bed and have a clean flush toilet and hot water shower available. Bring your cooler with some beverages and some fixings for the BBQ. Or, if you choose, throw that frozen thing in the microwave. We provide the beds and linens; you provide all the other stuff you need when camping.

Both of the cabin’s feature everything your favorite campsite has and then some: their own designated parking spot and hose bib close by, a picnic table and pedestal charcoal BBQ’s outside*, along with a mini refrigerator and microwave inside. The cabins are located so they are in nice shade on summer afternoons and are well apart from each other. They are fully insulated, have power outlets and a ceiling fan.

The “Cabin” contains a Queen-sized bed and has two chairs and a table on its porch. The “Shack” (Coming online for the 2023 season) has two twin beds, and has its own fire pit with stump seats*.

A clean, newly installed bathroom is located just a short distance away on the back of our shop. A rustic one-of-a-kind outdoor shower with hot water is coming this summer (2022).

Both spots have ample room for those of you pulling a boat or trailer. There is a complete turnaround available. We have several nice lakes within 20-minute drive and Lake Roosevelt at the Hunters boat ramp is an hour away. All can have some great fishing depending on time of year and water temperatures. Several smaller, very attractive smaller lakes are close as well for those looking to kayak. All provide some great swimming opportunities.

In addition to the Cabins, we have two RV sites. One is designate for members of Harvest Hosts and can accommodate large rigs by a straight shot back in. Smaller rigs and trailers can pull through by utilizing the turnaround (this site should have optional 30-amp service and a hose bib for the 2022 season). The other site, located at a former home site, provides ample shade, 30-amp service and a water hook up. NO DUMP is available.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to see what normally only the owners see, the alpacas after hours! Truly one of the most enjoyable sights one can see is the young, often only a few days old, alpacas racing back and forth, feeling the need to run and run! Back and forth in the pastures they go, often inspiring even some of the older alpacas to kick out their back legs and leap with the pleasure that the cooling evening brings.

A small store with most essential items as well as a bar and a small restaurant is located just a short four mile up the road from us in the small community of Springdale. We are far enough from town to feel like you’re away but close enough to go in when there’s a need. The north end of Spokane (Mead) is about an hour away via north 231, 292 east and 395 south. Downtown is about an hour away via 231 south to 291 east to Northwest Ave to downtown. The airport and Airway Heights is an hour away via 231 south and 2 east.

The Cabins and RV site are booked through (April 2022) Currently we are changing bookings to Aibnb and will be back online soon.
