Are you a spinner, weaver, knitter or even a beginner fiber enthusiast? Have you always wanted to process your own fiber at home but don’t know where to begin? Our Introduction to Fiber Processing Class is a great way to start!
In this class we will…….
• Give you a brief history of fiber processing
• Provide some examples of various fibers you may use/process but will also specifically discuss Suri alpaca and long fine fibers.
• Introduce you to various fiber processing equipment (you don’t need a room full of expensive equipment to process fiber!)
• We will finish with an Alpaca Encounter, where you will meet and greet the Leisure Ranch Alpaca herd!
We are focused on what you CAN do with your home grown fiber, not what you CAN’T DO!
