Camping/Glamping Cabin

Welcome and thank or your interest in staying with us. We are tentatively scheduled to be open Memorial Day through Labor Day, but will adjust this each season depending on access (spring mud, fall snows). The Cabin is set up for double occupancy. Leisure Ranch Camping Cabin is a unique camping experience at Leisure Ranch Alpacas, a 216-acre ranch that combines both pasture land and private wilderness. Guests can not only learn about the alpaca operation but also enjoy nature and hiking in a peaceful, secluded setting. The cabin is equipped with several amenities to make your experience comfortable.

During their stay, guests will receive a private tour of the alpaca operation, where they will learn about how the alpacas are raised and how their fiber is hand processed on the ranch. This tour is an excellent opportunity to learn about the life cycle of alpacas and how they are cared for. Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with the herd and hand-feed them treats, providing great photo opportunities.  There are also goats, chickens, horses, and mini horses to enjoy. There is a gift shop located on the ranch where guests can purchase Alpaca products. 

The Cabin is described as 'Camping with Comforts because this is still a camping experience but with some comfort porvided, so you can leave the tent and sleeping bags at home.  The Cabin space features everything your favorite campsite has and then some. Designated parking spot, hose bib close by, a picnic table and pedestal charcoal BBQ.  The Cabin is located under the shade of maple and elm trees, is fully insulated with power outlets and a celiling fan.  Some of the comforts provided are a new queen size bed (linens provided), microwave and mini fridge.  The Cabin has a covered porch, which also has a table and chairs, so you can still enjoy being outside and stay dry if it happens to rain.  There is a new half bathroom a short distance from the cabin.

The ranch is surrounded by nature and offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, bird watching, and stargazing. Guests can also explore the ranch on designated hiking trails and enjoy the beautiful scenery, which includes pine forests and meadows. 

In addition to the many opportunnities to explore the ranch and learn about alpacas, Leisure Ranch Alpacas is also located near multiple lakes with boating, fishing, swimming  and kayaking opportunities. Guests who have a boat can bring it with them and launch at the nearby lakes. We have plenty of parking for boats and trailers. There are numerous hiking trails throughout the area for guests to take advantage of.

Overall, Leisure Ranch Alpacas is an ideal destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature, while also learning about alpacas and their fiber.
